As a non-diet dietitian, my practice focuses on exploring one's relationship to food and body to help enhance wellbeing and work toward healing. I am located in Los Angeles and have a virtual private practice. If you live outside of California, please do not hesitate to inquire about working together virtually as I am licensed in many different states.

A weight-inclusive approach may be a refreshing way to honor your health and past experience. I practice with a Health at Every Size approach and am an Intuitive Eating dietitian focused on body liberation. Combining lived experience with evidence based science will allow us to honor health concerns without dieting, restriction or restraint.

As we work together, we will hold space for concerns around weight and body image struggles, and we'll name the impact diet culture has had on you.  We'll explore behaviors to help you feel nourished, satisfied and supported, moving away from a restrictive and punitive diet culture. If you're curious to learn more about this non-diet philosophy, I've written about my humble evolution as a dietitian here

In our initial sessions, we will explore your relationship with food. We'll discuss eating habits and exercise patterns, and your history with food rules, dieting and disordered eating. We'll get curious about how you define health, and we'll work on identifying what's causing you to feel stressed around food.  We will begin to explore food rules and beliefs, with the goal of working to let go of what's no longer serving you.

In follow-up sessions, we'll review the practice of self-care, self-compassion and radical acceptance. We will celebrate successes and explore challenging experiences further, continuing to hold space for where you are in this journey. Throughout the process, we will use your knowledge and understanding of past experiences to help you nurture your mind and body. Together, we'll assess the amount of support and counseling structure that will benefit you the most.

Most importantly, your story will be met with compassion, empathy,

and entirely without judgment.
